Unrelenting storms continue to wreak havoc in California's Bay Area. High wind blew a portion of the roof off an apartment building in South San Francisco.
Jose Alvarez, Home Damaged said "At around two in the morning, of course we were all sleeping, and all of a sudden we hear this loud bang and then the roof just kind of flew off and it was hanging off the building. So that really got us scared. It woke us up and before we knew it there was water just pouring inside of our beds and our clothes and everything. So we just had to run out."
The victims say the city has given them a hotel to stay at temporarily, but they say they've otherwise been left to fend for themselves. Wind gusts over 70 miles per hour have also blown hundreds of trees down throughout the Bay Area.
