Smooth Financial Process: CMP Supervisory Committee held a coordination meeting

The CMP Supervisory Committee held a coordination meeting for smooth financial process for CMP businesses in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

Union Minister for Labour Dr Pwint Hsan gave an opening speech, saying that there are 738 CMP factories and workshops, and among them, 362 factories have seen transaction of foreign currency between 22nd September to 14th November 2022 while 284 have no transaction of foreign currency.

There are also 92 factories with no foreign currency accounts. He stressed the needs to use banking system for foreign currency flow while abiding by the rules and regulations of the Central Bank of Myanmar. He added that success of the CMP businesses depends on the accurate statics, and urged the members of the Industrial Zone Management Committee and entrepreneurs to cooperate in the process.
