New swimming pool opened: SAC members opened new swimming pool

In commemorating the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day, the Nyein-Chan-Thayar Swimming Pool constructed in the compound of Nyein-Chan-Thayar Sports Ground was commissioned into service with a ceremony in the afternoon on January 10 and attended by the members of the State Administration Council and Union Ministers.

Present at the ceremony were the SAC members Jeng Phang Naw Taung, U Maung Har, U Sai Lone Sai, U Shwe Kyein, Union Ministers, Kachin State Chief Minister, deputy ministers, senior military officers, state chief justice and state government ministers.

At the ceremony, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan said the Kachin State is congratulated as it is the first one which can open the most valuable indoor swimming pool among the regions and states and it also needs the systematic maintenance as it’s a swimming pool which meets the international standards.

Next, the Cheif Minister U Khet Htein Nan gave a remark. Then, the Myanmar Maker-Home Company which constructed the swimming pool transferred the documents regarding the swimming pool and the state minister for social affairs accepted.

Next, the Union Minister opened the new Nyein-Chan-Thayar Swimming Pool by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and the SAC members unveiled the signboard of the swimming pool by pressing the auto button and posed for documentary group photo.

Then, the SAC members, Union Ministers, state Chief Ministers and ministers and attendees viewed the swimming pool. Afterward, the swimming competitions as per the age level were enjoyed and the contestants, ethnic cultural committees and dance groups were provided with the cash of honor.
