Jill Biden attends gender equality events in Mexico

U.S. First Lady Jill Biden hosted two events on women's empowerment and gender equality on Monday at the U.S. ambassador's residence in Mexico City.

Jill Biden is in the Mexican capital along with U.S. President Joe Biden to attend the North America leaders’ summit. Ahead of the official start of the talks the first lady met with groups of Mexican women entrepreneurs, educators and artists. In a speech she stressed the importance of the role of women in the global economy. After the events, the first lady attended a National Football League (NFL) flag football training session for local children.
