Sydney heralds New Year with firework display

A massive fireworks display over Sydney Harbour Bridge rang in the New Year for people in Australia.The iconic bridge was lit up in various colours as the spectacle took over the waterfront to celebrate the start of 2023.

More than 1 million crowded to watch the multi-million dollar celebration based around the themes of diversity and inclusion.Over 7,000 fireworks were launched from the top of the bridge and a further 2,000 from the nearby Opera House.
