Two pedestrians struck, killed by SUV in Las Vegas

Police in Las Vegas say a man from Minnesota and a woman from New Mexico were struck and killed by an SUV while crossing a busy street against a "don't walk" signal at the downtown Fremont Street Experience casino mall.

Police say the driver, a 28-year-old Las Vegas woman, was arrested later on suspicion of driving under the influence, reckless driving and leaving the scene of a crash. She's jailed awaiting a court appearance. It's not clear yet if she has a lawyer.
