Fire at refinery in Iraq's Irbil under control

A huge fire swept through an oil refinery in Irbil in the Kurdish region of Iraq on Tuesday. Two firefighters were injured while trying to put out the fire that occurred in the refinery on Irbil-Gwer road on Tuesday evening, local officials said. The cause of the fire is unknown according to the spokesperson for Irbil civil defence department. The Mayor of Irbil, told reporters that the fire was “huge” but had been brought under control.
