Football Semi Finals: SAC Chairman’s Cup Football Semi Finals held

With the aim for uplifting Myanmar’s sports standard and turning out outstanding footballers, the Semi final matches of the SAC Chairman’s Cup Inter-ministry U-25 Men’s football tournament organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in commemoration of 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 took place at the Wunna Theikdhi stadium in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday evening.

Members of the State Administration Council Jeng Phang NawTaung, U ShweKyein, Union Ministers, deputy Ministers, senior military officials, officials from Myanmar Football Federation and sports enthusiasts enjoyed the matches.

At the Semi final match held at 3 PM, the team of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs beat the team of the Ministry of Home Affairs with 2-2 and at the match held at 5:30 PM, the team of the Ministry of Planning and Finance beat the team of the Ministry of Border Affairs with 2-0.

The match for third place and the final match of the SAC Chairman’s Cup Inter-ministry U-25 Men’s football tournament will take place on 30th December, it’s learnt.
