Immigration Process: Union Minister makes inspection at Yangon Int’l Airport

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing on Saturday made inspection at the Yangon International Airport. There, the Union Minister met with officials and staff and heard report on workforce, arrivals and departures of international airlines and local and foreign travelers, immigration process and cooperation with relevant departments.

In his response, the Union Minister stressed the importance role of airport employees and that it is necessary to carry out immigration process in an orderly and efficient manner, to pay special attention to security measures, to follow ethics and to be royal, to provide good service, to act in accordance with the procedures and to report in a timely manner in case of unusual events.

And, the Union Minister provided foodstuffs to the airport employees. Also, he inspected the status of the immigration process, data storage in the department's server room, health screening measures related to covid-19 disease and gave necessary instructions.
