Qatar to showcase fashion and culture at Stadium 974

Doha’s Stadium 974 hosted a fashion show Friday ahead of the World Cup 2022 finals. The show is part of a wider initiative, Qatar Creates, to offer high-profile events during the FIFA World Cup 2022 and take advantage of the international spotlight to celebrate Qatar’s culture.

Proceeds from the show will be donated to Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, a non-for-profit organization founded by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser that supports education for marginalized children and communities around the world. Stadium 974, a port-side structure with more than 40,000 seats partially built from recycled shipping containers and steel, will be dismantled after the tournament, according to organizers.
