North Macedonian, Egyptian FMs meet in Cairo

North Macedonia's top diplomat said Sunday that full integration of Western Balkans countries into the European Union remains the "only alternative".

Bujar Osmani spoke during a news conference alongside his Egyptian counterpart Saleh Shukry in Cairo. The war in Ukraine has put the EU’s expansion at the top of the agenda as officials from the Western Balkans and EU leaders gathered last week for a summit intended to reinvigorate the whole enlargement process.
