Christmas parade takes to the streets of La Paz

The city centre of Bolivia's capital La Paz came to a standstill on Saturday to make way for the annual Christmas parade. Organized by one hundred and fifty institutions of Bolivian society, the parade featured 60 floats.

Hundreds of families enjoyed the parade. Father Christmas and his reindeer were the most cheered, while the Grinch turned out to be the least popular character in the parade.
