Myanmar / Thailand: Union Minister for Int’l Cooperation receives Ambassador

Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr. Mongkol VISITSTUMP.

In this meeting on Thursday evening at the Ministry of International Cooperation in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister extended congratulations to the Ambassador on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

And, both sides discussed matters related to the further enhancement of the traditional bonds of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand as well as continued cooperation between the two countries in regional and multilateral fora on the basis of mutual understanding and support.
