Progress of Works: Union Minister inspects MDY Region Director Office

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint together with officials inspected constructing rock retaining walls, brick fence and drainage, installation of pedestrian bridge at the Mandalay Region Director Office on Friday and gave instructions.

The Union Minister and party then met the staff who are assigned duties at the office and called for the civil servants must carry out the duties assigned by the state in regardless of party, personality cult and religion. He added that peace is very essential for the development of the country, all ethnic people must work together in their respective sectors.

The Union Minister called for implementing of the project farmland in ethnicity areas in line with the existing laws and conducting trainings for capacity enhancement of the staff, fire safety measures and striving for the emergence of a Union based on democracy and federalism.
