Youth And Literary Arts Exhibition: MOI holds meeting on holding the event

A coordination meeting for organizing youth and literary arts exhibition marking the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw, Wednesday.

At the meeting, the Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said that the Youth and Literature Festival was held in Wunna Theikdhi stadium in last year in commemoration of Diamond Jubilee Union Day.

To be more significant in this year, the festival will be renamed as the Youth and Literary Arts Exhibition and it will be held in a grand manner. Arrangements will be made for the youth students and families of the staff to be able to participate in the event.

In the exhibition, the topics related to the youths, health, social, education and literature will be shown as a priority and the interesting programs for children will be included.

Later, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint explained about the matters that should be cooperated by relevant ministries. Officials and attendees reported on lliterary program, art program, the exhibition booths, programs for health, fitness and improving morale and formation of Committee and sub-committees for holding the exhibition.

The youth and literary arts exhibition will be held with the aim to cherish reading books and periodicals by the students, to know the benefits of literature, value the country’s independence while understanding the experiences under colonial rule and the history of Independence struggle by promoting patriotism and national prestige through film art and to cherish regions and states while enjoying peace, stability and development of Myanmar and the beauty of rural areas through the photo art exhibition and to understand the undertakings of respective ministries through the display of booths.

The event will be held at the Myanmar International Convention Center-2 (MICC-2) in Nay Pyi Taw from 26th to 28th December. The exhibition will include the display of books and periodicals, book sale shops, the displays of photos, arts exhibition, the booths of relevant ministries and the programs will focus on the youth people.
