Sports Sector: MOSYA Union Minister inspects sports facilities in Yangon

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan inspected construction of hostel at Myanmar Rowing Federation in Yangon on Saturday.

It is a 4-storey facility to accommodate the rowers, and the construction is targeted to complete by the end of 2022-2023 fiscal year. The Union Minister later met with the youth rowers and selected rowers and urged to make constant training and try to become a player who can bring prestige to the nation.

The Union Minister also inspected the mess hall and hostels and gave necessary instructions. They later proceeded to Kyaikkasan Sports Ground and inspected the construction of hostels, mess halls and kitchen.

At National Indoor Stadium (1) in Thuwunna, the Union Minister met with the Chairmen and officials from the Sports Federations and urged all to make close supervision on avoiding restricted drug and to make regular training to gain success in the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asia Games.
