Zelenskyy thanks Sunak for UK's commitment

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday thanked British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who made an unannounced visit to Kyiv earlier in the day.

Sunak promised 125 anti-aircraft guns and other air-defense technology, which Britain valued at 50 million pounds.

In his nightly video address to the Ukrainian people, the president also noted that the energy situation in the country remained acute.

Zelenskyy also underscored Kherson's gradual return to normality, as the first train from Kyiv arrived in the recently retaken city with much fanfare.
