UK's King Charles celebrates his 74th birthday

Britain's King Charles III's celebrated his 74th birthday on Monday.The occasion was marked by gun salute near London's Tower Bridge while a rendition of Happy Birthday was played at the Changing the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

A new photograph of the monarch was also released on his birthday, with the announcement that he was following in his late father, the Duke of Edinburgh's footsteps by becoming Ranger of Windsor Great Park.Charles is marking his first birthday as King after ascending to the throne two months ago following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
