Thousands mark Remembrance Day across Australia

A big crowd attended the Australian War Memorial in Canberra on Friday morning for the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony.

It was the first national ceremony in the country since 2019 and was attended by more than a thousand people, paying respects to Australian soldiers who served and died in conflict.

Ceremonies were also held in other capital cities around the nation. The Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, attended the ceremony in Sydney.
