Young activists submit demands to COP27 presidency

Young activists submitted their demands with the COP27 presidency on Thursday, saying political leaders need to do more on issues such as climate finance and give youth a more institutionalized position in talks.

UN Climate Change Executive Secretary Simon Stiell supported the role youth play in the discussions on climate. But some activists want a greater involvement in talks with officials, including a seat at the negotiation table.
