Zelenskyy welcomes new US military aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his daily video address late Thursday that a new package of military assistance from the U.S., which includes air defence systems, was "just what we needed, what we asked for."

Zelenskyy also said it would take years to clear Ukraine of all the mines and unexploded ammunition, once the fighting had stopped. The Ukrainian president also commented on separate talks he'd had with the prime ministers of Britain and Canada.
