Early voters pack precinct in New York City

A Manhattan voting precinct was packed with residents casting early ballots Tuesday for the mid-term election.

This year, many New Yorkers face a slate of new candidates on the ballot following redistricting of the congressional map.

The state is also deciding whether Democratic governor Kathy Hochul will be elected to serve her first full term in office, or be replaced by her Republican opponent, Congressman Lee Zeldin of Long Island.
