Biden decries attack on Speaker Pelosi's husband

US President Joe Biden decried the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband during remarks at a Democratic event in Philadelphia Friday evening. The president said he called Speaker Pelosi with support and he delivered a full-throated condemnation of the “despicable” attack that had no place in America.

In San Francisco on Friday, police were called to the Pelosi residence to check on Paul Pelosi. Investigators believe the intruder gained entry to the home in the upscale Pacific Heights neighborhood by breaking through glass-paneled doors. The FBI and Capitol Police are also part of the joint investigation.
