Virginia early voters mindful of abortion, economy

Ahead of the 2022 midterm election, hundreds of Virginia voters each day are casting their ballots in person, by mail, and at curbside locations at early polling places.
Many races are tightening across the country and both Democratic and Republican candidates are hoping their messages on abortion, immigration, inflation or public safety will tip the balance in their favor. Early voting has been underway in the state since Sept. 23 at local registrars' offices or satellite voting locations.
