Speakers, MPs attend Crimea Platform dinner in Zagreb

Speakers and members of parliament from dozens of countries arrived in Croatia's capital Zagreb on Monday to attend a high-level meeting of the Crimea Platform.

The conference, organized by Ukrainian and Croatian legislators and scheduled for Tuesday, brings together legislators from EU and NATO countries to discuss and promote human rights and democracy.

On Monday evening, delegations arrived for a gala dinner hosted by Ukraine's Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, and Speaker of Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandrokovic, including the US delegation led by Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, who earlier in the day met with Croatia's PM, Andrej Plenkovic.

Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, is expected to address the summit on Tuesday via video link.
