ZSL London Zoo has announced its youngest tiger cubs are to be called Inca, Zac and Crispin. The zoo revealed the names Thursday, along with recent video footage of the four-month-old triplets playing with each other, their mother and a large pink ball. In a written statement released by the zoo, tiger keeper explained the cubs could be easily distinguished from one another, thanks to their markings.
The critically endangered Sumatran tiger cubs were born at the conservation zoo in June. ZSL supporters bid for the chance to choose their names, at a fundraising auction last month. Inca and her brothers Zac and Crispin are part of global conservation effort, through a collaborative European breeding programme amongst zoos.
