Egypt and India FMs comment after Cairo talks

Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar warned of the consequences of the Ukrainian conflict on food and energy security during his visiting to Cairo, where he met his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry. Jaishankar also highlighted the strains on climate action, calling for more concerted efforts to tackle the issue.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry also stressed the importance of joint action when it comes to climate change. The two ministers discussed bilateral issues including climate change, energy, foreign investment, alongside international and regional issues.
