Training for teachers: 1st year B.Ed correspondence course (2/2022) opened

The welcoming ceremony for the trainees of first year B.Ed correspondence course (2/2022) of Magway Education Degree College under the Department of Teacher Training of the Ministry of Education was held at the college on 14th October and attended by Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, region ministers, principal Daw Khin Myint Hlaing, region level departmental officials, training instructors and trainees.

At the ceremony, the chief minister said that there is a total of 1032 teacher trainees who have not graduated the B.Ed education degree are attending the B.Ed correspondence course (2/2022) in Magway Education Degree College and Pakhokku Education Degree College.

The Ministry of Education is addressing for the sustainable capacity development of the teachers to implement the improving education system of KG+12. As the human resource is paramount important in building the modern development nation and the teachers play the vital role, the state treasures and acknowledges the role of the teachers by providing with the creation of better work environment, assistance as per the degree and administrative allowances.

The teachers are urged to have confidence on themselves as the education producers, teachers and partners of the state policies and fulfilled the requirements of the country.

Next, the principal Daw Khin Myint Hlaing explained the objectives of opening training and rules and regulations for the training. Then, the trainees performed with the songs and the chief minister presented cash of honor to the trainee performers.

The B.Ed correspondence course (2/2022) opened in Magway Degree College is being attended by 710 teacher trainees and the training will take place from 11th October to 15th November 2022, it’s reported.
