Giant pumpkins for elephants

Some elephants at Portland's Oregon Zoo helped usher in the Halloween season by tackling some giant pumpkins.

The zoo's elephants got to play with and taste several pumpkins donated by a local grower's club.

The pumpkins weighed between 300 and 800 pounds each. Big, but no match for the much larger elephants. Oregon Zoo has a tradition of sharing giant pumpkins with its elephants each fall since 1999.
