Bilateral Cooperation: MoSYA Union Minister receives Chinese Ambassador

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan and officials received a delegation led by Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Chen Hai in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

In the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador said that Myanmar has achieved good results in the 27th Southeast Asian Games and also gained success in the 31st SEA Games. The Chinese government is providing assistance to uplift the living standard of Myanmar and the people and the interests as much as possible and discussed bilateral cooperation of Myanmar and China.

Union Minister U Min Thein Zan said that China and Myanmar have mutual cooperation and he expressed thanks to China for providing assistance to Myanmar. He also congratulated on conducting joint training to Myanmar athletes by taking to China and rendering assistance for uplifting Myanmar’s sports standard and upgrading of Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium-1.They then discussed assistance plan of China for sports sector development of Myanmar.
