Decatur shooting

A central Illinois police chief says two officers conducting a traffic stop have been shot and wounded by a suspect who died after officers returned fire in Decatur in US.

Decatur Police Chief says the suspect fired multiple rounds at the officers with a handgun and the officers returned fire.

He says the driver was pronounced dead at a hospital. He added one officer was hit multiple times and a second officer was shot once.
