Food Aid : Basic foodstuffs provided to the grassroots

The states and regional governments have been providing basic foodstuffs to the grass roots.

In Yenanchaung Township of Magway Region, during the basic foodstuffs provision ceremony, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stressed the government’s efforts for development of agricultural, educational, economic and healthcare sectors in the Region.

All must work hard with all their strength and intelligence for the development of the country, the Chief Minister added.

After his remarks, the Chief Minister and officials provided such basic foodstuffs as rice, cooking oil, salt, bean and onion to 500 households, the grass roots living in Yenanchaung Township.
