Information on Arts Competition: Opening Ceremony to be broadcast live

The 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition 2022 is set to be held from the 11th to the 18th of October in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Competition will take place at the Myanmar International Convention Center 2 (MICC-2), National Library, National Museum and Yadana Hall and Training Theatre under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.

The opening ceremony of the Competition at the MICC-2 will be broadcast live on the MRTV-HD, MRTV News, MWD, MWD Variety and MITV channels and also on the MOI Website, MOI Youtube and MRTV Website as well as on the Myanma Radio, Thazin FM, Mandalay FM, Pyinsawadi FM, Shwe FM, Pandamya FM, FM Bagan, Cherry FM and Star FM. The live broadcast on the 11th of October starts at 8:50 am.

Objectives of the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition 2022 are to uplift national prestige and integrity and to preserve the cultural heritage and national characteristics, to discover, preserve and uplift the traditional cultural
heritage of performing arts of ethnic nationals and national cultural characteristics, to preserve traditional cultural performing arts in order to further revitalize adoration of the State and hand it down to new generation youths and to contribute much to the restoration of perpetual peace.
