Peru's most popular Roman Catholic procession, the Lord of Miracles, returned to the streets of Lima on Saturday for the first time since the corona virus pandemic began.

The procession venerates a 17th century rendering of Jesus Christ. The replica is estimated to weigh nearly 2 tons. It culminated with the giant replica painting being carried to Las Nazarenas monastery where the original Lord of Miracles mural is located.
