Archeological Heritages: Bago Region CM inspected Sri Ksetra Pyu Ancient City

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win together with the officials of the region government, in the afternoon on October 7 inspected Sri Ksetra Pyu Ancient City for the all-round development to attract the local and international visitors and more arrivals of tourists.

First, the chief minister and party inspected the surveying the core of the road to construct a four lane road for the visitors to visit the Sri Ksetra Pyu Ancient City easily through the spacious road.

Next, the chief minister and party also inspected the arrangements to dig up the old palace mount, moat, constant existing of water in the moat and reviving original system of inflow and outflow of water and viewed the existence of U Thawma Lake, Arahat Lake and lotus lake and coordinated necessaries to revive the ancient heritages systematically without damaging the original style.

Afterward, the chief minister and party inspected the Thaung Pyae Kone to be constructed as View point in the Phu ancient city and gave instructions to the officials to carry out the ground cleaning works.

Next, the status of removing squatters at Hmote Shay city gate to revive the city wall and moat and instructed to supervise no illegal settlement in the designated archeological are.

Afterward, the chief minister and party inspected the place of dredging sand bank to protect the bank erosion and upgrading works of strand road for the relaxation of the people implementing with the allocated fund of the Bago Region Government, it’s reported.
