Royal White Elephant: Baby elephant turns 2-month and a half old

A 33-year-old female elephant called Zar Nan Hla kept by the Myanma Timber Enterprise in Taungup Township of Rakhine State has given birth to a white male elephant on 23rd July 2022.

The baby elephant is two feet and five inches in height, three feet and one inch in girth with its birth weight of about 180 pounds.

Out of eight characteristics of the white elephants, the baby white elephant meets 7 unique features such as having pearl-coloured eyes, plantain branch-shaped back, white hair, a distinctive tail, auspicious plot signs on the skin, reddish-brown or pinkish skin, five claws on the front legs and four on the back legs and big ears.           

Now, the white baby elephant turns 2-month and half old and his height becomes 2 feet, 8 and half inches, three feet and 10 inches in girth and about 225 pounds. He lives together with his mother happily. As he is a white elephant who has been tame with people since he is young, he is being trained by the Human Friendly Training system to become more familiar.
