



The leaders of California, Oregon, Washington state and British Columbia on Thursday signed a new agreement at the Presidio Tunnel Tops park in San Francisco to work together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The agreement, an update of a 2016 climate partnership, will promote collaboration on moving toward a low-carbon economy with investments in electrical vehicle charging stations, renewable energy and other infrastructure.
At the signing ceremony, the four leaders talked about how climate change has led to catastrophic wildfires, poor air quality and droughts in their regions.They said moving toward a clean energy future won't just help the environment, but lead to stronger economies.
