Education Sector: Meeting on curriculum designing held

A coordination meeting on designing curriculums linking between the KG+12 and Universities was held at the Ministry of Education, Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

At the meeting, the Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyut Pe said that the rectors from the Arts and Science Universities and Institutes of Economy, Board of Studies, organizer professors are urged to be able to develop the curriculums of KG+12 and Universities linking between.

If there are senior teachers who participated in developing the original curriculums, they should be invited and sought their suggestions. It’s needed to teach the curriculums of university academic years linking each other. Some curriculums may need amendments and upgrading.

Each and every subject only has improvement, all subjects will progress, and the collaboration and collective effort is needed. The collective effort is needed to find the basic and correct path to uplift the degraded education.  Next, the deputy minister Dr. Zaw Myint, permanent secretary Dr. Soe Win clarified the matters and the meeting was continued as in the agenda.
