Foodstuff Provision: Assistance provided for teacher trainees in Mon State

Hailing the World Teachers Day which falls on 5th October, foodstuff were provided to the teacher trainees who are attending the courses, opened a the Mawlamyine Education Degree College on Wednesday.

The Degree College is conducting Training Course and a Diploma Course for Pre-Primary Teachers, and 404 teacher trainees are attending the courses.

Mon State Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun said education sector plays a crucial role in nurturing the qualified new generation. He urged the teacher trainees to learn the knowledge on the skills of teachers, and strive for providing quality education for the youths.

The Chief Minister and the ministers later presented eggs, dried fish, supplementary foods and foodstuff for the teacher trainees.
