Potential Recession

The head of the Organization of American States (OAS) said on Tuesday a recession was possible around the turn of 2023 amid a global spike in inflation.

Lima will host the 52nd Regular Session of the OAS General Assembly from October 5-7.

It will be held in person for the first time since 2019 after recent remote sessions held under pandemic restrictions.

Peruvian President Pedro Castillo was seen holding talks with Almagro as well has a UN delegation headed by Miroslav Jenča of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs.
