Peace Accord's Ethnic Chapter

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Colombia's Vice President Francia Márquez signed Colombia's 2016 Peace Accord's Ethnic Chapter in Bogota Monday.

Antony Blinken, U.S. Secretary of State, said "The United States has been proud to be a partner to Colombia and its people throughout the peace process. Today, we're taking another step in support of securing a lasting peace by becoming the first international company to the ethnic chapter of the peace accord”.

The Peace Accord between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, better known as FARC, included individual and collective rights for Colombia's ethnic groups.
