COVID-19 Update: 473 new cases with 2 deaths reported on October 1

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 473 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 13,405 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there are two patients who died due to the disease while 185 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 623,639 with 19,461 deaths and 598,311 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
