




Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, together with the SAC Joint Secretary, the Union Ministers and officials, inspected the implementation of the 26th Mile Integrated Agriculture and Livestock Breeding Zone near Yangon-Mandalay Expressway on Saturday.
The Chairman of Myanmar Economic Corporation and officials reported on the work undertakings on livestock breeding and agriculture, fish breeding, production of animal feeds, production of dairy products and sales of agriculture and livestock products with a reasonable price.
The Prime Minister discussed for sufficient production of products to meet the demand of consumers from Yangon Region. He also stressed the needs to extend the livestock breeding zones in the townships, outside the Yangon City Development area. He also pointed out the needs to provide electricity, water supply and animal feeds for the livestock breeding tasks.
He urged all to make efforts for growing rubber trees since the primary purpose of the zone is to fulfill the needs of domestic rubber factories. The Prime Minister and party later inspected the breeding of cows, animal feed plant, production of dairy products and implementation of livestock and agriculture works.
