Meeting for Regional Development: Chief Minister gives instruction on MSME development

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win gave instructions on prioritizing to development of micro, small and medium enterprises in addition to the agriculture and livestock breeding tasks at the work coordination meeting on regional level departments held at the Region Government Office on Friday.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the infections of COVID-19 have found again in the region and it needs to follow the COVID-19 preventive rules and regulations. He also stressed on extension of summer paddy cultivation, winter sunflower crops, mung beans and said that the State government will support the necessary inputs.

It needs to arrange mixed crop cultivation that are suitable with the regions, boosting production of MSME products from agriculture and livestock breeding, conduct awareness on using the paddy husks as the natural fertilizer, strengthening information network regarding administration, security measures and office works.

Officials from the Regional Government reported on functioning works in the respective departments and the regional level departments also submitted reports on agriculture, livestock, MSMEs, rural development, availability of irrigated water, collecting taxes, education, health, investment and loans, construction tasks and operation of office works on which the Chief Minister instructed the needs.
