Illegal Trade: Illegal goods and vehicle seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

From the 21st to the 24th of September, illegal medicine, charcoal, fertilizer, toilet accessories, bed sheets, wires, consumer goods, water heaters and vehicle were seized in Dawei township, in Hlegu Township, at the Yangon International Airport, at the checkpoint of Myanmar Industrial Port, at the checkpoint of Kawkareik (Thadakyoe) and at the Mayanchaung checkpoint.

In total, illegal goods and vehicle worth over 120 million Kyats were confiscated. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
