Rural Development Works: Development undertakings in Ayeyawady Region inspected

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe, together with officials visited AnaukSu Village in Kangyidaunt Township in Ayeyawady Region on 23rd September.

The Deputy Minister and party inspected water supply and fencing works. They later arrived at the Vocational Training School (Pathein) and viewed the opening of sewing course.

The Deputy Minister also met with the departmental staff, cooperative members and farmers and discussed for implementation of the contract farming system for growing the winter crop by the State Economic Promotion Fund and socio-economic development of the farmers.

The Deputy Minister later met with the staff from the Cooperatives Department, Rural Development Department and Small Scaled Industries Department and Rural Road Development Department in Kyaung Kone, and  urged them to understand the policy and objectives of the ministry and to carry out the tasks without bias.

The Deputy Minister later provided 10 million kyats for Village Development Project to be implemented in LuThantChaung Village of KyaungKone Township.
