Ad-hoc Coordination Meeting: Vaccination Program, humanitarian assistance discussed

The Ad-hoc Coordination Meeting of the Task Force to facilitate provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar through the AHA Centre was held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Meeting was attended by the Chair of the Task Force and Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing, Vice Chair (1) of the Task Force and Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Vice Chair (2) of the Task Force and Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine and members of the Task Force.

The Meeting discussed on the necessary preparation for the Joint Vaccination Program between two Health Ministries of Myanmar and Cambodia as well as for the Joint Needs Assessment for the provision of broader humanitarian assistance to Myanmar. Myanmar aims for the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those people indeed in need without discrimination.
