





A work coordination meeting on drafting and linking KG+12 curriculum and university curriculum was held at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe said that the Ministry is implementing a policy to ensure that every citizen can access free education until the end of KG+9 at least.
Those who have passed KG+9 can study up to Grade 10, 11, 12 and higher university education. If they do not want to attend until Grade 10, 11, 12, they can join Agricultural High School, livestock high school and technical high school if they desire.
Starting upcoming academic year, the agriculture, Livestock and Technical Integrated High Schools will be jointly opened in 50 basic education high schools in 50 districts. Measures will be made to join and link the curriculums for those who have passed KG+12 and continued their education at the university.
The Union Minister stressed the needs on discussing Grade 12 curriculum or Grade 12 outlines to verify linking with the 1st year University curriculum or not and urged all to cooperate for improving educational qualification. He also informed promotion and transfer policies.
Deputy Minister U Zaw Myint discussed promoting of education system, joining curriculum, master degree courses, effective trainings for Myanmarsar, English and Myanma affairs subjects and research works.
