Pyin Oo Lwin Coffee Park: People can learn and treat the coffee in one place

Pyin Oo Lwin Coffee Park, where people can learn about coffee and aid relaxation in one place will be officially opened with opening ceremony near Mandalay-Lashio high way on 4th January 2023.  

Pyin Oo Lwin Coffee Park is being upgraded from coffee research and preservation of Pwaytaung Coffee farm which was established in 1953.

It aims to develop the 70 years old historic farm, to preserve the natural resources and ecosystems of the farm, to improve the quality and production of Myanmar coffee and to create a place for the relaxation of the people.

Win Lwin Oo, Staff Officer, Coffee Research& Preservation Farm said "We planted both coffee and shady trees. We upgraded the existing natural resources of the farm but some works are still under construction. On the other hand, we set up the coffee knowledge centers in the farm so that people can learn about coffee while aiding their relaxation. Also we will implement the café shops, coffee related courses and demonstrations. And we have planned to launch the One-Stop service and coffee treat center so that people can treat coffee from all over the country in here. "

Currently, Pyin Oo Lwin Coffee Park is pre-opened and people can freely visit between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every day.
