





The Government Peace Talks Team and the delegations of the Karen National Liberation Army (Peace Council) KNU/KNLA (PC) and the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army-DKBA held the 2nd day meeting at the National Reconciliation and Peace Center in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.
The meeting was attended by State Administration Council Member, National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Chairman Union Minister at the Government Office in his capacity as the leader of the Peace Talks Team Lt- Gen Yar Pyae, Council Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, Commander-in-Chief Saw Steel of the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army-DKBA, Chief of Staff Saw Sein Win, Vice Chair Dr. Naw Kapaw Htoo of the KNU/KNLA (PC) and General Secretary Saw Kyaw Nyunt.
At the 2nd day session, the two sides discussed their attitudes and stances on the 1st day discussions. NSPNC member Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein clarified the agreements included in parts 1, 2 and 3 of Union Accord along with the findings and whether they comply with the 2008 Constitution and existing laws or not. Later, the participants exchanged their opinions and held a mutual discussion and then the 2nd day meeting concluded. The 3rd day meeting will be held on 17th August.
